Leading Irish beer brand, Eight Degrees, has expanded its network of stockists across Northern Ireland. The popular range of beers is now available in a range of top local bars, restaurants, hotels and off licences, following a new partnership with drinks company, Dillon Bass.

Eight Degrees is an award-winning Irish microbrewery renowned for its innovation and experimentation. Established at the foot of the majestic Galtee mountains by Kiwi, Scott and Aussie, Cam, who were lured to Ireland by two Irish cailins, the popular brand has racked up a cult following and an impressive collection of awards over the last eight years.

Driven by a passion for producing exciting and adventurous beers using only natural ingredients, the team at Eight Degrees have created a range of world-class small batch beers that have won over legions of beer fans across Ireland and beyond.

Located at the Foot of Galtee Mountains in Mitchelstown, Eight Degrees uses unique, soft water source from the highest inland mountains in Ireland, with premium Irish malted barley from Irish farmers.

The brewery’s daring, innovative and creative approach has resulted in a range of bold and exciting beers.

From the Seisiún IPA, crammed with aromatic hops and the Howling Gale, a Pale Ale with grapefruit and citrus aromas, right through to the ‘Full Irish’, which showcases the best home-grown barley, malted locally in Cork, and ‘Citra’ with its fruity, juicy aroma and flavour, the Eight Degrees range offers something to suit every taste.

Scott Baigent, co-founder of Eight Degrees visited Belfast in October. Commenting during his visit he said: “We’re excited to bring Eight Degrees to even more great venues across the North, as part of our partnership with Dillon Bass. We’ve really enjoyed visiting Belfast this week; the city has an exciting and vibrant food and drink scene. There’s a great fit between our beers and the developing foodie scene here and it’s been a pleasure to meet some of the people that are working hard to put Belfast on the map as a top class destination for food and drink.”

Eight Degrees will be distributed in Northern Ireland by drinks company, Dillon Bass.

Brand Manager, Laura Shiels said: “Eight Degrees is a pioneering microbrewery, whose passion for their craft is so clear to see. Craft beer continues to grow in popularity, which we have seen alongside our premium whiskey portfolio, with the trend of Boilermakers/beer cocktails and beer and whiskey pairings. We’re excited to bring this exciting brand to a bigger network of stockists in the North; the range complements our range of leading wines and spirits, and in particular, our portfolio of premium Irish whiskeys, including Jameson, Powers and Redbreast.”
