Leading house builder, Braidwater Homes, has announced that it will be the first company in Northern Ireland to bring forward a part exchange opportunity for house movers. This alternative option, which will apply for properties at Beech Hill View and Gleann Elagh in Derry-Londonderry, offers purchasers the chance to secure, purchase and move into their new Braidwater home, while the company takes ownership of their existing home for future sale.

If a house qualifies for part exchange, Braidwater will request an independent valuation of the current property, and then submit an offer. On agreement, Braidwater will progress with the sale of the home, allowing the purchaser to concentrate on the purchase of their new home.

Headquartered in Eglinton and with developments throughout Northern Ireland, Braidwater Homes is part of the Braidwater Group and has over 40 years’ experience in the building and development industry.

Cormac McCloy, sales manager of Braidwater, said:

“We are excited to see the property market moving again and we are keen to support people who are looking at purchasing a new home this year. By being the first company in Northern Ireland to offer part exchange, we are leading the way with this opportunity.

“We know that this will remove many of the more stressful elements of a house relocation, with no chains to worry about or even viewings required for your own home. We encourage anyone who is interested to get in touch with us as soon as possible as the offer will only apply to a limited number of plots.”
