Debbie, who has over 20 years association with CIM, has delivered CIM accredited qualifications for over five years, as well as having a long-standing association with enterprise agencies across Ireland. Debbie was also the driving force in setting up CIM in the Isle of Man.
As the centre’s owner and Principal, Debbie will both oversee quality assurance at the study centre and will deliver using her experience as a live marketing practitioner. The new centre will offer intensive study options, from Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing to CIM’s new Level 6 Digital Diploma in Professional Marketing and offers a range of flexible payment opportunities. The East Coast Marketing Academy can also offer companies with large marketing teams in house CIM qualifications at their premises.
Commenting on the development, CIM Network Manager (Ireland), Carol Magill said:
“This development brings to four the number of accredited study centres in Northern Ireland. At present we have two in Belfast (Belfast Academy of Marketing), Belfast Met, the North-West School of Marketing and now the Newry-based East Coast Marketing Academy. Belfast Academy of Marketing also has a provision in Coleraine.
“The expansion in study centres here demonstrates that, as the largest professional marketing organisation in the world, our qualifications are in demand and best placed to prepare Northern Ireland, and the island as a whole, for challenges and opportunities such as Brexit, and the very fast moving digital marketing space. As well as more study centre options, CIM has also recently expanded the number of exemptions and length of time University students can pick up via the CIM Gateway Programme. CIM membership is the signal of a marketer, who in common with his/her industry, does not stand still.”
