Leading business people from both the public and private sectors across Northern Ireland attended the 9th BT Business Innovation Breakfast which took place at Riddel Hall, Belfast, on Friday 8th December.   Hosted by BT Sport Presenter, Craig Doyle, the BT Cyber Security Innovation Business Breakfast addressed one of the most pressing challenges facing businesses and organisations today and heard from a number of speakers including Professor Sir John McCanny, Director of (ECIT) on how Cyber Security is supporting the growth of the digital economy; Professor Ben Azvine, Global Head of Security, Research & Innovation who spoke about the future cyber threat landscape and Steve Benton, GM Cyber & Physical Security Operations, BT who talked about how BT protects itself and its customers from the cyber threat.


A number of subject matter experts took part in a Q&A including Iggy O’Doherty, Chief Strategy Officer in the Department of Finance’s Digital Shared Services; Conrad Simpson, Director at Cyphra and Paul Hanna of Cisco.
