Homegrown, global beauty brand, BPerfect Cosmetics, has announced the opening of its first ever flagship Mega Store in CastleCourt Shopping Centre in an investment worth £250K, creating ten new jobs. Opening on 1st October 2020, the 2,500 square foot store is set to be a ‘game-changer’ in the UK and Irish beauty retail sector.

With interior décor which will ‘push every boundary’ the shop will be a hive of colour, texture, music and splendor and Ireland’s first ever ‘Instagram make-up superstore’, housing a range of ten top beauty brands from top make-up artists and cosmetics retailers.

Founder and CEO of BPerfect Cosmetics – Brendan McDowell – a true Northern Ireland success story founded the company in Belfast in 2012, with a personal investment of just £500. Since then he’s worked hard to develop a brand that now enjoys cult-like status amongst celebs, style influencers and beauty devotees across the globe. Over 2,000 retailers worldwide now stock its extensive range of on-trend makeup, a figure that is growing daily. This next stage of the journey ensures their place as the leading beauty brand in Ireland.

Speaking about his first store opening Brendan said: “I am so proud and excited to be in the final stages of opening the store in my home city and want to thank our amazing team and loyal customers for helping us get to this point.

“The store has been a vision of mine for many years and to see it come to fruition is quite simply a dream come true. It will be very different from any other make-up retailer anywhere in the world. It will feature top Instagram brands like our own and others such as Lunar Beauty from Manny MUA, and Doll Beauty to Voduz and Mrs Glam – it is solely aimed for people who love to have the latest ‘must have’ beauty product and still want to have a very special experiential retail experience.

“The store will be inclusive, welcoming for all age-groups, genders and somewhere where shoppers can view and try the hottest products on the globe from a range of over ten brands.

“I also want to give back to the community of Northern Ireland for their unwavering loyalty. We plan to work in partnership with local charities to help those in need by welcoming them to the store to help boost their confidence and self-belief.”

“We have also just announced our new collaboration with one of the hottest TV stars of the moment, Jacqueline Jossa, who will be there on the evening launching our new collaboration; The BPerfect Jac Jossa 1 Hour Express Tanning Mousse and The Jac Jossa Hydro Glo Tanning Facial Mist BPerfect.

“She will be joined by Stacey Marie who will be showcasing our top selling BPerfect Carnival Palette, Louise McDonnell from LMD who will be revealing our next collaboration and the amazing Michelle Regazolli Stone AKA ‘Mrs Makeup’ who will be demonstrating some unbelievable looks, live on social media.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at CastleCourt for being so welcoming and supportive of our new venture, especially as we are opening midst a pandemic.”

Brendan concluded: “However, where others see challenges, we see opportunities and we are fully committed to our growth plans for the BPerfect brand and look forward to our next chapter as a serious player in the retail sector.”

Leona Barr, Centre Manager at CastleCourt said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome the amazing BPerfect brand to CastleCourt in our 30th year.

“The brand is such an aspirational leader in the cosmetics sector and a huge growth area for us as a retail shopping destination.

“Their offering perfectly compliments our already strong beauty and make-up offering and we look forward to welcoming the next generation of shopper to our Centre.”

Leona concluded: “I wish Brendan and his team every success in their future here at CastleCourt.”
